CPA-EFMC International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry
First Round Notice
The 2019 Chinese Medicinal Chemistry Symposium (CMCS2019), organized by Division of Medicinal Chemistry, Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and hosted by Sichuan University, will be convened in Chengdu, China from August 15th to 18th, 2019. According to the cooperation framework agreement signed by Chinese Pharmaceutical Association (CPA) and the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC), the 2019 CPA-EFMC International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry (CPA-EFMC ISMC2019) will be held concurrently.
The Symposium is aimed to be the most prominent event on the cutting edges of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery. Experts and scholars from the relevant field will be invited to present and discuss their most recent progresses on frontiers of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.
Themed with “New targets, new technologies and new molecules − boosting the discovery and translation of original new drugs” and “Exploring new pathways to tackle immune-oncology”, this conference will have keynote, invited, oral and poster presentations, providing an excellent platform for communication, promoting the cooperation and boosting the development and outreach of medicinal chemistry.
We are honored to invite the fellow scholars, colleagues and graduate students from both academia and industry to join us on this great event to discuss the innovation and translation of drug discovery this summer in Chengdu. The details about this symposium is as follows:

3. Frontiers and hot topics in medicinal chemistry
4. Targets for critical diseases and frontiers in new drugs
5. New methods and processes for drug synthesis
6. Chemical biology and related fields
7. Frontiers in natural medicine (traditional Chinese medicine) chemistry
8. Frontiers in chemistry of pharmaceutical materials
9. Frontiers in immunotherapy and biotherapy
10. Enterprise forum: New drug R&D for the transformation and development of pharmaceutical industry

IV. Call for abstracts
1. Innovative, scientific and advanced academic papers could be submitted to this conference. All speeches and poster presentations will be attached with an abstract. The author should assume the sole responsibility for his/her abstract, neither the Academic Committee nor the Organizing Committee will be responsible for reviewing the authenticity and originality of any abstract.
2. The proceedings of the conference will include abstracts only, which can be submitted online or by E-mail. For format requirements and submission methods, see the Second Round Notice.
3. Deadline for submission: June 30th, 2019.
V. Registration
This conference will adopt online application and registration. The intended participants are kindly advised to register at http://www.cmcs2019.com before July 31st, 2019.

2. Accommodation
Participants are requested to make hotel reservations at their own expenses. The hotels near the International Convention Center include: Intercontinental Century City Chengdu, Holiday Inn Century City Chengdu, All Seasons Hotel (New Conference and Exhibition Center, Chengdu), Elan Inn (New Conference and Exhibition Center, Chengdu).

VI. Others
The conference will be augmented by an exhibition of products and services of interest to the conference participants.
